Or: Not sure how anyone’s supposed to consume stuff if they have no money to consume it with because they have no job.

The irony is that my parents and I argue about the way our economy is set up…how it’s doomed to fail. Then they spit out social darwinism to defend the people who employ them then this happens? By this I mean during the recession BOTH of my parents have been laid off and they’re perfectly okay with that.
Maybe I should just get a mediocre job myself so I can just prepare myself for being someone’s sheep the rest of my life when I realize I can’t afford my education despite being of average intelligence.
